Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of this amendment is to bring the regulation into compliance with the recent repeal of R.I. Gen. Laws § 34-27-3.1; amendments to R.I. Gen. Laws § 34-27-3.2 and adoption of R.I. Gen. Laws § 34-27-7. Non-substantive grammatical and stylistic changes have also been made to the regulation.
