Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of this Regulation is to establish standards and procedures for the issuance of Auto Wrecking and Salvage Yard licenses and to generally assist the Department in carrying out the administration and enforcement of the terms and provisions of R.I. Gen. Laws Section 42-14.2-1 et seq. so that the public interest may be effectively served.
