Regulation Authority:

This regulation is promulgated pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws §§ 42-14.5-1 et seq., 42-14-5, 42-14-17, 27-18-8, 27-18-8.4, 27-19-6, 27-20-6, 27-41-29.2, and 42.62-12(b)(4).

Purpose and Reason:

The Regulation is designed to update the policies and procedures of the Office with respect to the filing and review of health insurance plan forms and rates, and to conform those policies and procedures to the requirements of the federal Affordable Care Act.
