Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of this Regulation is to implement R.I. Gen. Laws § 27-5-3.7. This regulation applies to residential property insurance policies insuring dwelling houses issued or renewed in Rhode Island on or after July 1, 2008. This regulation is not applicable to commercial insurance policies. The reason for this technical revision is to include the maps that are listed on page 9 and page 10, and correct typographical errors in the filed Insurance Regulation 110.
