Purpose and Reason:
The proposed regulation is designed to implement the provisions of R.I.G.L. § 27-29-4.4. Each insurer that writes more than one percent (1%) of the total premium volume of Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance during the immediately preceding calendar year shall conduct an auto body labor rate survey in accordance with R.I.G.L §§ 27-29-4.4 and this Regulation.
