Purpose and Reason:

The Department of Business Regulation ("Department") hereby adopts amendments to Central Management Regulation 3 effective November 8, 2007 and makes this statement in accordance with R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-35-2.3. The Department makes these amendments in order to allow for an expedited process of submissions without a formal hearing and to allow for electronic submissions of petitions. The remainder of the changes are to grammar and form. There are no differences between the text of the proposed regulation as published in accordance with R.I.Gen Laws § 42-35-3 and the regulation as adopted, other than editing changes.
