Purpose and Reason:

These regulations are proposed in order to implement the provisions of Title 44, Chapter 31.2 entitled “Motion Picture Production Tax Credit,” as amended in 2012. As a result of a comment received at the public hearing, Rule 5(a)(5)on page 4 was amended by replacing the phrase "such as" with the word "for." In addition, Rule 5(b)(1) on page 4 was amended by removing the words “located outside of the State of Rhode Island.”
