Regulation Authority:
Section 457 of the Internal Revenue Code
Purpose and Reason:
To attract and retain certain individuals by permitting them to enter into agreements with the Employer which will provide for the payment of deferred compensation upon retirement or seperation from service as well as death benefits in the event of death before or after retirement.
