Regulation Authority:

RIGL 40-5.1-9.1

Purpose and Reason:

To provide a one-time alternative cash lump sum payment instead of on-going FIP cash assistance to certain families. The amount would be equal to a total of up to three (3) times the monthly amount of cash assistance to which the family would otherwise be entitled if the agency determines that a lump sum payment would enable an adult parent to either accept and begin employment based upon a verifiable job offer, or to maintain current employment. This filing supercedes erlID # 3202.

INACTIVE RULE Amendment - effective from 01/04/2005 to 02/02/2005
