Purpose and Reason:

Effective August, 2004, to change the penalty for a parent's noncompliance with participating in an Employment Plan as required under the Family Independence Program. The new penalty will be the termination of the entire family's cash assistance benefit after the parent has been penalized for a total of 24 months, whether or not consecutive. This filing supercedes erlID #3133.
