Purpose and Reason:

Effective April 1, 2012, the Medical Assistance poverty level income standards are updated in accordance with the 2012 Federal Poverty Level.

Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:

To prevent beneficiaries from being wrongly deprived of benefits needed for their support.
