Purpose and Reason:

Effective April 1, 2012, the Medical Assistance poverty level income standards and maintenance needs allowance have been updated in accordance with the 2012 Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:

To prevent beneficiaries from being wrongly deprived of benefits needed for their support.
