Purpose and Reason:
Effective November 1, 2006 in conformance with the federal Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, the Department of Human Services has defined what is acceptable documentation of citizenship and identity for all persons declaring United States citizenship who are applying for or receiving Medical Assistance (including RIte Care).
