Purpose and Reason:
Effective April, 2008, the rules are amended to reflect the following: 1. Re-designation of responsibility within ORS for following up on reports that indicate criminal charges of any nature; 2. Automatic biennial BCI checks of all BEP vendors and vendor employees are discontinued; 3) BEP vendors and vendor employees are required to submit to the BCI process when there is an indication of possible criminal conviction.
