Purpose and Reason:
Effective May 2017: • Update language to reflect that Rhode Island Division of Elderly Affairs is now housed within the Department of Human Services • Remove language of old process for appeals and replace with language referencing appeals through Executive Office of Health and Human Services • Separate and clarify Service Delivery Requirements as they relate to Home and Community Care and Adult Protective Service programs. • Reformatting and renumbering of the rules as required by RI General Laws, Section 42-35-2.11. • Remove Division of Elderly Affairs oversight in regards to construction and renovation of facilities. • Updated personnel requirements as they pertain to who can be a case manager and case management supervisor. • Updated language regarding deficiencies and plans of corrective action.
