Regulation Authority:

RIGL 42-12-23

Purpose and Reason:

Removal of the sunset date regarding the Back to Work RI Pilot. Renaming Back to Work RI to Child Care for Training. Updated CCAP Provider Rates. Renaming CCAP Provider Rates to CCAP Maximum Weekly Reimbursement Rates and reorganizing by provider type. Application of the 2016 Federal Poverty Level guidelines along with the revision of the CCAP Eligibility and Cost-Sharing levels by Gross Income Adjusted for Family Size.

Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:

FPL must be implemented by 3/1/16 per Federal requirements. Removal of the sunset provision extends time for families to utilize the Back to Work Pilot Program, entitling families to Child Care Assistance while participating in job training programs, thus increasing the likelihood of securing employment.
