Effective 07/21/2006 to 08/30/2006

Regulation Authority:

RIGL 40-6.2

Purpose and Reason:

Effective for child care services rendered on or after August 1, 2006, family share co-payments for families with countable income in excess of one hundred fifty percent (150%) of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) will be decreased.

Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:

The emergency adoption of the rules is required to reduce the co-payment increase assessed against Level 3, 4, and 5 participants in the Child Care Assistance Program, from the 2% increase implemented effective May 1, 2006, to 1% effective August 1, 2006.
