Purpose and Reason:
To amend the rules for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to: Effective January 4, 2004: 1) Establish a three-quarter (3/4) time rate for recipients 2) Increase child care provider payment rates 3) Change the definition of the CCAP financial unit for countable income for new applicants 4) Implement a new method to determine family share co-payments for new applicants 5) Clairfy the requirements for Short Term Special Approval Child Care 6) Clarify certain terms and definition in the current CCAP rules Effective February 1, 2004: 1) Change the defintion of the CCAP financial unit for countable income for current CCAP recipients 2) Implement a new method to determine family share co-payment for current CCAP recipients
