Chapter 23-17 of the Rhode Island General Laws, as amended
Purpose and Reason:
For the purpose of adopting minimum standards for birth centers which are consistent with acceptable standards of practice and which ensure that, while providing pregnant women with maternity care alternatives, the birth centers will provide services in such a manner as to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of mothers and newborns
