Purpose and Reason:

This regulation is being promulgated to require clinical laboratories to submit specimens or isolates upon request; and require COVID-19, COVID-19 associated deaths, COVID-19 associated hospitilzations, and COVID-19 associated multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome be reported to the Department within 24-hours.
