RIGL Chapter 21-28

Purpose and Reason:

Update the minimum requirements for pain management, opioid use and registration of every person who manufactures, distributes, prescribes, administers or dispenses any controlled substance within Rhode Island. As the results of comments received at Public Hearing, several technical corrections were made to align terminology used in the regulations with that actually used by several professional associations whose certifications were identified as meeting certain regulatory requirements.
