Purpose and Reason:
For the purpose of establishing prevailing standrds for immunization and communicable disease screening and testing for health care workers prior to employment in Rhode Island-licensed health care facilities; In addition, the provisions of section 6.0 shall apply to all health care workers employed in health care facilities licensed under the provisions of Chapter 23-17 of the Rhode Island General Laws, as amended, on and after the effective date of these regulations
