Title 216 Department of Health
Chapter 10 Public Health Administration
Subchapter 05 Practices and Procedures
Part 2 Fee Structure for Licensing, Laboratory and Administrative Services Provided by the Department of Health (216-RICR-10-05-2)
Type of Filing Amendment
Regulation Status Inactive
Effective 05/14/2025

Regulation Authority:

R.I. Gen. Laws §§ 23-1-3(b)
23-1-17
and 23-1-54

Purpose and Reason:

RIDOH is proposing these changes to:

  • Clean up the existing regulations by revising fee names, deleting non-existent fee types, and updating citations;
  • The newborn screening fees are being increased to account for the addition of new required testing types starting in Fiscal Year 2026; and,
  • Remove the Electronic Nicotine Delivery System licensing fees as these licenses are now issued by DOR.
