Purpose and Reason:
This proposed rule establishes practice standards for the assessment and treatment of sexually abusing youth, provides guidance to assist treatment providers in the planning, implementation and evaluation of supports and services, creates guidelines for the education and training of staff working with these youth and provides DCYF oversight for providers. The final rule does not contain any changes to the proposed rule except for editing changes.
