Purpose and Reason:

Revised policy eliminates a provision that required parents of a youth exhibiting wayward/disobedient behavior topursue the filing of a wayward/disobedient petition prior to voluntarily placing a child in the care of the Department. This rule supercedes and repeals ERLID# 1254 filed 1/2/2002.
