Purpose and Reason:

Revised to reflect current State and Federal law and good child welfare practice. Includes provisions relating to preparation of the child and adoptive family, completion of the adoptive home study investigation and report to the Family Court, disclosure of information to the adoptive parents about the child, post adoption privileges for biological parents in open adoptions and post adoption services.
