Purpose and Reason:

The Department is responsible to administer the Child Welfare Services Program (Title IV-B of the Social Security Act)in Rhode Island. The Department utilizes an inter-divisional planning process to ensure that an equitable and effective Child Welfare Services State Grant Program is developed, implemented, and monitored.
