Purpose and Reason:
To adjust the average monthly cost of private payment in a nursing facility based on the update to the Medical Assistance poverty level income standards and maintenance needs allowance in accordance with the 2012 Federal Poverty Guidelines. (Section 0384.20 Penalty Period for Payment of LTC Services)
