Purpose and Reason:

This amended rule updates the cost−of−living scale and per diem cost of maintenance for residents of the RI Veteran’s Home due to the annual change in the Consumer Price Index. Due to lack of participation, there is no longer a per diem cost associated with domiciliary care. Proposed revisions were filed under emergency rule-making guidelines to reflect the 2016 cost of living adjustment.
