Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of this rule is to fulfill the statutory requirements of R.I.G.L. 28-30-22(b)(1) to "adopt and review protocols and standards of treatment for compensable injury". The purpose of this amendment is to revise the Aterior Cruciate Ruptutres Protocol and the Cubital Syndrome Protocol. There is no substantiative difference between the amended rule as proposed and amended rule as adopted.
