Purpose and Reason:
The pupose of this rule is to fulfill the statutory requirements of Rhode Island General Laws 28-30-22(b)(2) to "approve and promulgate rules, regulations, and procedures concerning the appointment and qualifications of impartial medical examiners." The purpose of this amendment is to amend fees for impartial medical examiners and comprehensive health care review teams. There is no substantive difference between the amended rule as proposed and the amended rule as adopted.
