Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of this amendment is to set the maximum award for the cost of repair or replacement of eyeglasses damaged or destroyed as the direct result of a crime shall be set at $200.00. This new language is being added to the Rules and Regulations as a result of Claimants seeking reimbursement for eyeglasses destroyed or damaged as a direct result of the crime.
