Purpose and Reason:

Sections 1.08(1) and 1.08(2) amend and limit the list of criminal convictions and/or pleas for which a claim for compensation may be denied or reduced and Sections 1.03(11) and 1.07(10) provide benefits for loss of earnings for a parent/guardian of a minor or incompetent crime victim.
