Purpose and Reason:

The purpose of this amendment is to update the electronic document sections of these rules. Differences between the proposed rule and the adopted rule are: 1) The word "documents" was replaced by "publications" everywhere except for the phrase "Documents Officer"; 2) Section III, Subsection C and Section V, Subsection D were amended to include consultation with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) on the use of standardized electronic publication formats; 3) Section III, Subsection D was amended to include references to various agency reporting requirements contained in the Rhode Island General Laws; 4) Specific compliance dates were removed from Section VI.
