Purpose and Reason :
This amendment is necessary to ensure that motor vehicle standards in Rhode Island are consistent with recent modifications to California’s Advanced Clean Cars Program (ACCP).
Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril :
Failure to ensure consistency with California standards would result in RI standards becoming less protective, which would result in violating our approved State Implementation Plan.
