Purpose and Reason :

Effective October 1, 2011, this amendment increases the premium share requirements for RIte Care recipients as follows: Households with a monthly family income over 150% of the federal poverty level (FPL) and not greater than 185% of the FPL will have a premium increase from $61.00 to $91.00. Households with a monthly family income over 185% of the FPL and not greater than 200% of the FPL, will have a premium increase from $77.00 to $113.00. Households with a monthly family income over 200% of the FPL and not greater than 250% of the FPL will have a premium increase from $92.00 to $122.00.
