Purpose and Reason :

To revise the cost-of-living scale and per diem cost of maintenance for residents of the RI Veteran's Home due to the annual change in the Consumer Price Index. Rules are being filed under emergency rule-making for an effective date of April 1, 2012 as well as filed for regular rule-making to sustain changes in adherence with the Administrative Procedures Act. Sections 109 Support Deduction and 111 Per Diem Cost have been changed. Technical amendments were made to the Foreword and Section 110 Verification of Data.
