Purpose and Reason:

RIDOH is proposing to amend these regulations to include the following changes:

§ 1.2 - Revised incorporated reference to the 2022 FDA Food Code.

§ 1.3(A)(5) - Updated definition of “Code” to reflect update to 2022 Food Code.

§ 1.3(A)(26) - Revised typo: changed “temporarily” to “temporary”

§ 1.4.2 - Section rewritten for clarity and to update requirements.

§ 1.4.2 - Section restructured for clarity and exclusion period changed from 24 hours to 48 hours.

§ 1.6.2 - Added section regarding RIDOH’s requirements for the number of three compartment sinks a facility must have.

§ 1.7.2(A)(2) - Updated citation in FDA Food Code
